Come Join Us for our 4th Authentic Ukrainian Food Tasting Event

We are excited to announce our 4th Ukrainian Food Tasting Event which will take place in our yard on Plum Island on Saturday, September 23rd from 2 pm to 4 pm. 

Nadiia will be your chef and will prepare a very exciting menu to share home-made Ukrainian dishes with you.

♦ Walk-ins are welcome, but we strongly encourage you to RSVP so I can make a proper amount of food for everyone
♦ Like all of our events attending is free of charge.
♦ All donations, from 8/24 until this event, of any amount will automatically put your name on the list for the raffle to win a Ukrainian Gift Box with special treats and unique souvenirs.
♦ What to bring: Yourself and a friend.
♦ What to expect: Borsch of course! And other kinds of homemade Ukrainian food made from scratch by Nadiia (vegetarian options will be available).
♦ Refreshments are included but you are welcome to bring your own.
♦ Cozy atmosphere, Ukrainian Music, Variety of Ukrainian foods. Just come over and enjoy!

We are excited to be raffling off 3 Ukrainian baskets. Each basket has a collection of items we received directly from Ukraine this year.  All three have the same items so you have three chances to win!  The raffle started on August 24th and will run until the end of our 4th Authentic Ukrainian Tasting Event on September 23rd. Any donation of any amount will enter your name into our raffle.  If you donate 3 separate times your name will be entered 3 times.

100% of all donations are directly used to help people in need inside Nova Kakhovka, Ukraine.

Our Progress June & July 2023 | Ukraine

Our Challenges June & July It has been almost 3 months since Russia destroyed the Nova Kakhovka Hydro Power Electric dam in Ukraine, killing thousands of people, displacing 10s of thousands of families, and contaminating the Dnipro River leaving over 700,000 people without drinking water. As the waters rose to over 15′ high in some areas the Russian military didn’t take any actions to rescue or help the citizens affected by the floods. Moreover, they would restrain and block civilians and volunteers trying to evacuate people or deliver water and food supplies. The Bridge Cape Ann We wanted to thank Kory of The Bridge Cape Ann for taking the time to help spread awareness of our efforts in Nova Kahovka Ukraine.   Back in February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, bombing cities throughout Ukraine. Nova Kakhovka Dam Catastrophe

On behalf of Nova Kahovka for Life, Inc we want to appeal for help in connection with the man-made disaster that occurred as a result of the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. https://novakahovka.life/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/5190084866212510879.mov On June 6, at approximately 3 AM Kyiv time (8 PM EST), the Russian military blew up the Nova Kakhovka dam. It is reported that the detonation was carried out from inside the engine room. Eight hours after the explosion, the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station was completely underwater.
